AudioRetoucher

AudioRetoucher is a music transposition application that enables real-time adjustment of both pitch and tempo for audio tracks. It allows subtle modification of instrumental or vocal sounds to help performers handle challenging musical keys, typically within a range of a half-step (semitone) to a whole step (whole tone). Vocal pitch can be increased to refine a performance or to create the impression of a younger-sounding voice.

The software can also be employed for creative sound design, such as replicating effects similar to the Chipmunks recordings, which were produced by capturing vocals at a reduced speed and then playing them back at normal speed. AudioRetoucher is commonly used by musicians as an MP3 key shifter and is able to detect BPM values for MP3 files, adjusting tempo in real time.
