BIPED

BIPED is a European research initiative focused on developing Positive Energy Districts (PEDs) to drive urban decarbonization and sustainability. The project delivers data-driven, interoperable solutions that integrate energy efficiency, local renewable generation, and smart grid management within interconnected district ecosystems. Currently piloting in Aarhus, Denmark, BIPED provides scalable frameworks for cities to optimize energy production, storage, and consumption while enhancing community resilience.
