iLand is an individual-based, multi-scale process-based model designed to simulate forest landscape dynamics, including tree competition, growth, mortality, and regeneration. It integrates interactions between climate change, disturbance regimes, vegetation dynamics, and forest management to assess ecosystem services and carbon storage at watershed and landscape scales. The software is a research tool developed by the Technical University of Munich and available under the GNU General Public License.
