Ilot

Ilot is a cooperative digital infrastructure initiative that administers a self-hosted Nextcloud instance, offering secure file storage and collaboration tools as an alternative to proprietary cloud services. Founded in 2021 by UQAM students and currently supported fiscally by GRIP-UQAM, the project operates on a member-owned governance model where users finance operations, contribute labor, and define community policies. It provides a federated, privacy-focused platform for organizations and individuals seeking data sovereignty.
