KNOSSOS

KNOSSOS is an open-source, cross-platform desktop application designed for the visualization and annotation of large-scale 3D volume electron microscopy datasets. Developed by the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research, it enables researchers to navigate terabyte-sized images and perform detailed structural analysis through skeletonization and 3D segmentation.
