MEDEAS

MEDEAS is an open-source energy systems modeling tool designed to guide the transition to a low-carbon European socio-economy. It utilizes advanced modeling techniques to help policymakers design pathways for a 100% renewable energy system by analyzing social, environmental, and economic impacts. Developed under the EU Horizon 2020 program, the project provides scenario analysis and decarbonization strategies through its core software, pymedeas.
