MonEcoWatt is a public service initiative developed by RTE (Réseau de Transport d’Électricité) in partnership with ADEME to provide real-time electricity consumption forecasts for France. The platform offers users, including businesses and households, hourly signals indicating grid stress levels to help shift energy usage away from peak demand periods. By promoting eco-gestures during high-tension periods, the service aims to reduce overall electricity consumption, prevent potential blackouts, and lower carbon emissions.
