Pattern Lab is a Node-powered static site generator and frontend workshop environment designed to help teams build, view, test, and showcase atomic design systems. It enables developers and designers to create living UI prototypes by stitching together reusable components with dynamic data. Although the project is now archived, it was widely used for tool-agnostic, language-agnostic design system documentation and component lineage tracking.
