The Xosphere Instance Orchestrator is a cloud-native, self-hosted subscription application that runs within a customer’s own Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment. Deployment is performed through a CloudFormation stack or a Terraform module, and the software operates using AWS Lambda functions. The Instance Orchestrator follows an opt-in model, acting only on Auto Scaling groups or individual instances that are explicitly enabled via an AWS tag. Tags can be assigned using existing organizational tools and methods, including AWS Console, AWS CLI, AWS APIs, infrastructure-as-code solutions such as CloudFormation or Terraform, or other cloud management platforms, after which the orchestrator continually manages the tagged resources.
