Batfish is an open-source network configuration analysis tool that validates the correctness of planned or current network configurations to ensure safe and rapid network evolution. It helps network engineers identify errors, verify compliance, and prevent outages or security breaches before changes are deployed. Originally developed by Microsoft Research and now maintained by AWS, it supports multi-vendor environments including Cisco, Arista, and Cumulus.
