The COOL platform is an Education Software solution that provides a central starting point for students and supports teachers in managing classroom activities. It serves as a homepage where students access teacher-selected online learning materials and automatically reflects group structures from the school’s Google console G Suite environment, ensuring that the correct teachers are linked with the appropriate classes. The platform can be extended with optional modules that support different aspects of teaching and learning, and a 60-day trial period is available.

COOL Picture log-in enables younger learners to sign in using picture combinations instead of complex alphanumeric passwords, encouraging the use of individual accounts rather than shared group accounts, which complicate progress tracking and conflict with privacy requirements. COOL Monitoring lets teachers view students’ browser screens remotely, see what they are working on, push specific websites to individuals or the whole class, block screens or close unwanted tabs, create smaller groups for targeted activities, review up to seven days of browser history, and provides administrators with reports on which teachers monitored which students. COOL Exam mode, part of the Monitoring module, locks students onto a test page for a set time so they cannot switch tabs or browse for answers, and can be applied to single students or entire classes. COOL Plagiarism check integrates with Google Classroom to analyze submitted Google documents for text matches on the web and against other students’ work, allows up to three checks per document to support iterative feedback and improvement, and presents a summary of plagiarism percentages and matching sources.
