Axon Draft One
axon.comDraft One is an add-on narrative tool within Axon Evidence that uses body-worn camera audio to help generate initial report drafts. After purchase and enablement, users can create draft narratives that can be reviewed, edited, and then transferred into a third-party Records Management System (RMS).
The drafts are based on the incident’s recorded body camera footage. When recording stops, the video’s audio is automatically uploaded to Axon Evidence, where it is then Auto-Transcribed. Within about five minutes of ending the recording, users can access Axon Evidence and use Draft One to produce a draft narrative. Draft One also works with any other playable audio or video files that Axon Evidence supports, not only Axon body camera recordings.
Administrators in this Public Safety Software environment can configure safeguards, define user permissions for Draft One, and monitor use. Utilization can be tracked by generating an audit trail or user report once the feature is activated.
