ShardSecure Engine
shardsecure.comShardSecure provides a Virtual Appliance that can run in cloud environments or on-premises, using Microshard technology to protect data security and privacy. It accepts data through multiple interfaces, including iSCSI, S3-compatible object storage APIs, a native API, SMB, and NFS.
After data is ingested, it is compressed and split into microshards, which can be as small as 4 bytes. These microshards are mixed, combined with poison data, and grouped into new shards that correspond to the configured number of storage targets. The resulting shards are distributed according to user-defined policies across independent locations, such as on-premises or datacenter storage, Amazon S3, Azure, Google Cloud, and IBM Cloud. The appliance can reconstruct the microsharded data whenever it is required.
