Zoho Directory
zurl.toZoho Directory (ZD) is a workforce identity and access management product that centralizes control of user identities, applications, and devices. It supports organizations using existing on-premises directories by enabling management of cloud applications through Directory Stores, with the ability to assign cloud apps to individual users or groups. Administrators can work with a catalog of over 500 pre-integrated applications or add other preferred apps, and then provide users with single sign-on (SSO) so they access all assigned apps with one set of credentials. Automated user provisioning can be configured to handle create, read, update, and delete operations on user profiles.
ZD also extends SSO capabilities to device management, allowing employees to use the same password for both applications and workstations. Administrators can onboard new devices, revoke access for departing staff, and reset passwords directly within the system. Security configurations such as password policies, multi-factor authentication (MFA), session controls, and IP restrictions can be enforced to protect user accounts, while identity reports support monitoring and regulatory compliance. These reports provide visibility into user activity with company resources, including logins and MFA events, aligning Zoho Directory with the functions expected of Identity Management Software.
